Terms of Service

Gaffy is a product of Studio 31, obrt za računalno programiranje, vl. Lukas Bašić ("Studio31", "we", "us", "our"), Ulica Vladimira Nazora 22, 10450 Jastrebarsko, Croatia, OIB: 95074033310.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Gaffy website and mobile application (together, the "Service").

By creating a Gaffy account or using the Service you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes; continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Gaffy is built for football agents and intermediaries, and the staff who support them, to manage players, club requests, contracts, commissions, finances and schedules on a professional basis.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. Gaffy is not directed at, and must not be used by, players, clubs or federations as a substitute for their own systems.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by staff you invite or credentials you share.

Gaffy provides a portfolio of your players, club requests (including AI import from pasted messages), contract and licence tracking with expiry reminders, a schedule for fixtures and meetings, finances tracking (income, expenses and recurring payments), and document storage for contracts and other files.

Club, league and player reference data shown in search results is pulled from third-party football databases to help you find and tag the right club or player - see 'Third-Party Football Data and Trademarks' below.

We may add, change or remove features as the product evolves. We'll try not to remove something you rely on without notice.

Gaffy is offered as a single plan on a monthly (€29) or annual (€299) subscription, billed in advance, exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on your billing details.

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No card is required to begin the trial. An invite code redeemed under the referral program extends it - see 'Referral Program' below.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You can subscribe in two ways. On the Gaffy website, payment is processed by Stripe and Gaffy never sees or stores your full card details. In the iOS app, the subscription is an in-app purchase sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID; Apple, not Gaffy, handles that payment.

An App Store subscription renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, as set out in Apple's terms.

A subscription bought on the website can be cancelled at any time from the Account page. A subscription bought in the iOS app can only be cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings - we have no ability to cancel it for you.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; it is not prorated or refunded.

Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy and refund requests for them must go to Apple. For purchases made on the website, contact us at info@studio31.hr and we will consider the request case by case, without prejudice to any statutory rights you may have.

AI request import turns a message you paste into draft club requests using a third-party AI model. The drafts can be incomplete or wrong - a misread budget, position or club - so check each one before you save it. You are responsible for the requests you save, as for any other content you enter.

Each account includes a monthly allowance of AI imports, shown in the app, which resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC) and does not carry over. We may also grant extra imports, for example as a referral reward; extra imports are used only once the monthly allowance runs out, don't expire while your account is open, and have no cash value.

Only paste content you're entitled to share. Don't use the feature to process special categories of personal data, or anything unrelated to club requests. We may limit or suspend AI import for accounts that misuse it, and we may change the allowance or the feature as the product evolves.

Every account has a personal invite code. A new account that enters someone else's code within 7 days of signing up, and has never subscribed, gets 14 extra days of free trial. An account can use only one invite code.

When someone who used your code makes their first payment, you earn a reward once that payment has been held for 14 days without being refunded. Depending on how you're billed at that time, the reward is extra days of access, a credit worth one month of your subscription applied to your next Stripe invoice, or extra AI imports. Rewards are limited to 12 per rolling 12 months.

Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Inviting yourself, using multiple accounts, or otherwise gaming the program voids the referral; we may withhold rewards we reasonably believe were obtained that way. We may change or end the program at any time, without affecting rewards already granted.

You retain ownership of the data you put into Gaffy - your players' details, contracts, notes, documents and everything else you create ("Your Content").

You grant us the licence needed to host, store, back up and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

Much of Your Content is personal data about the players you represent. As between you and us, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and process that data and for meeting any obligations you owe to the people it describes; we process it on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that store unlawful material.

Club, league and player search results are sourced from third-party football data providers for reference and convenience. We do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.

Club logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Gaffy is not affiliated with or endorsed by any football club or federation.

You may not resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others as a bureau; reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code; or use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing or harmful content.

You may not attempt to bypass the Service's security, scrape it at scale, or interfere with other agents' use of it.

Account credentials are personal. Keep them confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect they have been compromised.

Gaffy sends reminders about contract expiry, commission due dates, licence renewals, events and similar deadlines by push notification, and may email you about your account or billing. It may also send occasional tips, such as a reminder that you can invite colleagues, which you can turn off under Invites & tips in the app's notification settings. Most reminder categories are configurable from within the app; account and billing notices will still reach you.

How we collect, use, store and share personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at gaffy.io/privacy, which forms part of your agreement with us.

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail, including our subprocessors and your rights under the GDPR.

Gaffy, our logo and the Gaffy product - excluding Your Content and third-party football data - are owned by Studio31. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own professional work while your subscription is active.

You may close your account at any time from within the app. Doing so permanently deletes your account, players, contracts, documents and other content from our systems immediately - this cannot be undone, so make sure you have what you need beforehand.

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably believe the account is being used unlawfully.

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that football reference data pulled from third parties is accurate or current.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Croatia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
